Each year at this time, we purchase school supplies, new shoes and clothes, get our kids hair cut, and stock our fridge and pantry with healthy food so we can pack their lunch boxes each morning. It's back to school time and we are eager for our kids to meet their new teachers and learn new things.
Those new teachers have been tirelessly working in their classrooms, creating inviting and enriching environments for our kids to learn and grow this year. They have been working into the wee hours of the night, prepping name tags, pulling together beautiful bulletin boards and organizing shelves with supplies and books for our children to use all year.
Our PTA plans a fabulous week for us to celebrate our teachers, but it's in May. And May seems so far away. So this year, I'll be thanking our teachers in September too! After all, September is when they could use a Pick Me Up for all the hard work they put in these past few weeks while we were enjoying the last few days of summer at the pool.
It will come as no surprise to those who know me, I set out to find the most colorful school supply for the gift. I found this 24 packs of Sharpie Highlighters and I just knew their teachers would love them as much as I do. Colorful and BRIGHT.
I created these fun tags that you can print out if you'd like to give your child's teachers a pack of bright highlighters. As a former teacher myself, I can say that teachers can never have enough Highlighters. If you think your child's teacher would prefer Sharpie Markers, we created a tag for those as well.
Download your free printable tags here. Then just print, trim and attach with a cute piece of tape!
