can you believe it's already time to get ready for heading back to school. sounds completely crazy, right? summer always flies by so fast, while the school year seems to drag on and on.
each year we take back to school photos on the front porch before we head off to school on our very first day. we want to remember each first. and as our kids get older, those firsts seem even more important. as they get older, the firsts seem to be fewer and the opportunities to document their growth seem to be more important. i'm sure that we aren't far from the days when my kids won't hold my printables and smile. for now they amuse me, so I'm grateful for the photo ops and the moments that matter.
i made some more fun photo signs for our family to use in a few weeks when school starts.
i wanted them to be colorful and bright and fun. just like the new school year promises to be.
i've created signs from pre-k through 12th grade. each with colorful buntings for girls and boys!
if you'd like to print some out for your first day, simply download the file below and print the ones you need.
they are sized for 8-1/2 x 11 paper and you can trim them down to 8 x 10.
i've added printables for the last day of school too!
wishing you and your little people all the best this school year! and when things get tough, homework assignments are getting you down, and packing lunches is a full time job, remember we can do hard things!

This is so cute. But I tried to print it twice and both times it only printed part of it. Weird. I tried a different one for my son (from a different blog) and it worked. Bummer because this is really cute.
Thank you! Your printables are darling!
THANK YOU!! Not only are these signs adorable, but you didn’t make them with a black chalkboard background. I’d rather not waste all that black ink. : ) Simple and sweet, perfect!!

These are so adorable. I used this sign for my son’s first day and was so glad that you updated them for this school year. Will you continue to update it each year or is it possible to get/purchase an editable file? My daughter will start school next year and I would love to do the girl version for her.
