be still clothing company

now that I am an “official” blogger or whatever that means, I thought I would use Wednesdays to share some things that I love and that are inspiring me. maybe a delicious recipe, an encouraging instagram feed, a great product, a new blogger, or one of my favorite shops.

today is a favorite shop day.

I wanted to kick things off by introducing you to Marissa from Be Still Clothing Company.

I “met” her a few months ago because we have something in common: my Be Still sign and her Be Still clothing. she was so gracious to do an instagram giveaway for all of my followers. then we found out not only do we love the power of words, we are super passionate about our small businesses, and we LOVE the same people (talking about you Ashley and Casey). the blogging world is small, I tell you, it's a very small world. 
now you have “It’s a Small World” stuck in your head, don't you?  me too.

I can’t help but see her clothes all over the blogging world.  I’m especially loving this trucker hat that my friend Jeannett was wearing.

and I’m loving this great pillow cover that is so my style.

and this coffee mug. because seriously.  who can get through a morning without coffee?

so I asked Marissa to pop over here to my new BOP blog and answer a few questions about how she got started.   I just had to share her wonderfulness with all of you!

what inspired you to begin your shop?

My family and I went through a few really difficult times a couple of years ago. Psalm 46:10 and Exodus 14:14 were such a huge source of strength for me! When we came through those times I knew I wanted to share this truth with other people who might be suffering. 

what is your current fav product or best seller?

My fav product is our "Overcome" tee because it has so much meaning behind it! It also fits so amazingly well and is SO comfy! My best seller is definitely our "Jesus Loves This Hot Mess" tee! ;)

have you seen anyone famous wearing your products? and when did you know your shop had "made it"?

I have been so blessed to have some super amazing ladies represent our Brand and ministry! Ashley from Little Miss Momma, Shelley from House of Smiths, and Lindsey from The Pleated Poppy have all sported some "Be Still" gear and I was over the moon to see them each love their products because they are all women I have admired for a long time!

the best vacation I ever took was...

To Anguilla. I want to go back so bad!

creativity always hits when ...

I stop TRYING. When I pressure myself in to thinking about NEEDING a new idea I get nothing. When I stop pressuring myself, the Lord gives me a little nudge and puts a fresh new idea on my mind!
